Technical Vice President,

Lynda has worked at Shell for more than 30 years in a variety of assignments around the world. These have included technical management positions in hydrocarbon exploration, petroleum engineering and production. Her most recent position is Technical Vice President with Shell International. She leads Shell’s Exploration & Production Global Petroleum Engineering field development planning and study organisation which has centres in the Netherlands, Houston, Aberdeen, India and Qatar.

In 2003 she was awarded the Order of the British Empire by the British Government for services to the oil and gas industry. She is a fellow of the Energy Institute, a trustee of EngineeringUK, a member of the Industry Board for the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology and on the editorial panel of the International Journal of Gender, Science and Technology.
