On display will be paintings from Tess Barnes’ major solo exhibition ‘Women of Substance’ featuring 50 portraits of some of the most successful and inspirational women of our times.

Tess studied at Chelsea College of Art and graduated from Goldsmiths College, London with a BA Hons in Fine Art. She has exhibited widely in the UK and Europe and has twice been selected for the BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery. Her portraits can be found in permanent collections in London and at Oxford University. In 2006 Tess became a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and in 2009 she started a year as the Artist in Residence at the Royal Institution.
