Wes Conference 2005 was held from Friday, 16th to Sunday 18th, September 2005 in York University, Langwith College, York, United Kingdom.
The theme for the Conference was Energy and Transport. The conference included keynote speakers and a panel discussion, a technical visit to the Jorvik Viking Center on Friday evening, and on Saturday a choice of parallel technical sessions and industrial visits including the National Railway Museum, the WES Annual General Meeting, and the Annual Dinner. There was also a small number of personal development seminars.
