The conference included an Opening Address by Dr Stuart Ashenden on the Medway Maritime, which was followed after by a visit to the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology.

Kate Bellingham was the after dinner speaker.

Saturday started with WES Annual General Meeting followed by keynote speaker: Allie Macadam, Project Director HS1, who spoke about the successful delivery of St Pancras Regeneration, an £800m project on a working railway station.
